Leinster Cyclocross Round 3 - Navan Road Club

Navan Road Club are please to be hosting round 3 of the Leinster cyclocross series on the 29th October 2023.

We will be running races from ages U6 right through to senior levels. 

The racing will take place in the same location as last year, Blackwater Park,Ratholdren Road, Navan - see location here

Please note that there will be no parking allowed in car park, and that all entrants must park their cars in Aura Leisure centre located 600mts around the corner from Blackwater Park, location here:

Please note that we will have marshalls on the entrance gate to Blackwater Park, and road signage up to direct you to Aura Leisure centre.

Riders/Teams who wish to transport equipment to the pits are permitted to enter the car park briefly and drop off their equipment, this will still require a short walk to the pits area.

Please allow adequate time to do this and remember that you can only enter the pits in the 'open course practice' period before your race and not hours earlier. This permission is striclty drop off only, anyone found to be abusing this request will not be dealt with favourably on race day.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

9.00am - Registration opens - *Open course practice for 50 mins.

9.50am - Call up U12 Boys and Girls Race

9.55am - 10.10am - U12's Race

*Open course practice 20mins after U12's Race

10.30am - Call up U16 Boys and U14 Boys

10.35am - 11.05am - U16 Boys + U14 Boys Race

*Open course practice 25 mins after U16/U14 races.

11.30am - Call up Women, U16 Girls, U14 Girls

11.35am - Race start Women, U16 Girls, U14 Girls.

Women - 45mins - 12.20pm finish

U16 Girls - 30 mins - 12.05 finish

U14 Girls - 30 mins - 12.05 finish

*Open course practice after the above races 35 mins

12.55pm - Call up Race A

13.00pm - 13.50pm - Race A

*Open course practice 20mins

14.10pm - Call Up B Race

14.15pm - B Race

15.00pm - All races finished and home time

UNDERAGE RACES

U6/U8/U10 - will have their own short races on a smaller seperate cirucit away from the senior circuit. Registration is open online and for these can also be done on the day - ENTRY IS FREE OF CHARGE.

Races for these will start 12.00pm - be listening out for the call up arund the registration area.

AS WITH ALL RACES AND THE AMOUNT THAT WE ARE RUNNING ON THE DAY, TIME SLIPPAGES MAY HAPPEN, PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ORGANISERS/VOLUNTEERS, GO TO REGISTRATION TENT FOR UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON THE DAY WITH REGARDS RACE TIMES etc.

Currently we are tackling the course to make it ready for the day, but for the most part it is in good condition, and is availabelfor public use all year round. So if you are looking to get a feel for the course and also to practice then head on up to it and use it.
